In the end, I decided to try Bulkr Pro as its website looked more polished (shame on me) and, being a developer, I prefer Flash over Java any time. I chose these two because they are cross-platform - I don’t want to be forced to use a specific operating system in the future or to re-download all my pictures using another tool. There are a couple of handfuls more applications claiming to being able to create Flickr backups. The paid Pro version supports more features, such as downloading the original sizes and metadata (tags, titles, descriptions, etc.). ![]() Both versions can download all your photos incrementally.
